UX Designer - accessibility review (Minneapolis, MN)

Harborlight North Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
