UX Designer - accessibility review (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Summit Nest Press Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
