UX Designer - accessibility review (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Umber Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
