UX Designer - accessibility review (Memphis, TN)

Ironwood Junction Markets Partners serves neighbourhoods around Memphis with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
