UX Designer - accessibility review (Madison, WI)

Greenridge Linden Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Madison working with agencies and riders, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
