UX Designer - accessibility review (Madison, WI)

Fernwood Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Madison. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
