UX Designer - accessibility review (Louisville, KY)

Harborlight Junction Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Louisville, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
