UX Designer - accessibility review (Little Rock, AR)

Ironwood Vista Medical designs and makes medical devices in Little Rock. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
