UX Designer - accessibility review (Knoxville, TN)

Northwind Wilder Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Knoxville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
