UX Designer - accessibility review (Knoxville, TN)

Amberfield Union Banking Services is a regional lender in Knoxville with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
