UX Designer - accessibility review (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge Cedar Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Knoxville design routes and schedules. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
