UX Designer - accessibility review (Knoxville, TN)

Clearpath Amber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Knoxville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
