UX Designer - accessibility review (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Ember Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
