UX Designer - accessibility review (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Drift Health Group is a healthcare provider in Kansas City with clinics and support teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 867 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
