UX Designer - accessibility review (Kansas City, MO)

Harborlight Early Learning runs childcare centres in Kansas City caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 582 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication.
