UX Designer - accessibility review (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Redstone River Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
