UX Designer - accessibility review (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Jacksonville design routes and schedules, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
