UX Designer - accessibility review (Jacksonville, FL)

Lumen Meridian Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
