UX Designer - accessibility review (Jackson, MS)

Rivermark Ember Financial is a financial-services company in Jackson, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
