UX Designer - accessibility review (Indianapolis, IN)

Highbridge Meadow Markets is a Indianapolis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
