UX Designer - accessibility review (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Kestrel Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 354 people based in Houston. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
