UX Designer - accessibility review (Houston, TX)

Redstone Amber Early Learning · Houston, TX · part time

Redstone Amber Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
