UX Designer - accessibility review (Houston, TX)

Ironwood Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Houston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
