UX Designer - accessibility review (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Mill Transit Planning · Honolulu, HI · contract

Amberfield Mill Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
