UX Designer - accessibility review (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Field Press is a printer and publisher in Honolulu serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in print quotes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
