UX Designer - accessibility review (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Granite Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
