UX Designer - accessibility review (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Juniper Health Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
