UX Designer - accessibility review (Fort Worth, TX)

Harborlight Summit Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Fort Worth, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
