UX Designer - accessibility review (Fort Worth, TX)

Ironwood Glen Transit Planning · Fort Worth, TX · part time

Ironwood Glen Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 520 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
