UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wilder Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 350 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
