UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Fox Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
