UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Nova North Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 357 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
