UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ridge Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
