UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Granite Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Families are partners. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
