UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Granite Community Partners Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
