UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

Fernwood Linden Banking Services is a regional lender in El Paso with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around fraud alerts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
