UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

Cedar Kestrel Financial serves customers across El Paso with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
