UX Designer - accessibility review (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Junction Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in pricing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
