UX Designer - accessibility review (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Wilder Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Detroit. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
