UX Designer - accessibility review (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Ember Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Detroit. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around cleanroom operations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in cleanroom operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
