UX Designer - accessibility review (Des Moines, IA)

Northwind Beacon Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for clinical evaluations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
