UX Designer - accessibility review (Denver, CO)

Lumen Kestrel Learning Group · Denver, CO · part time

Lumen Kestrel Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 460 people based in Denver. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
