UX Designer - accessibility review (Denver, CO)

Bluepeak Quarry Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Denver working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
