UX Designer - accessibility review (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Arts Center Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
