UX Designer - accessibility review (Dallas, TX)

Harborlight Wilder Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Dallas. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 99 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
