Lumen Wilder Early Learning · Columbus, OH · contract

Lumen Wilder Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
