UX Designer - accessibility review (Columbus, OH)

Summit Haven Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
