UX Designer - accessibility review (Columbus, OH)

Bluepeak Iron Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Columbus area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
