UX Designer - accessibility review (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Sable Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Colorado Springs. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
