UX Designer - accessibility review (Cincinnati, OH)

Rivermark North Medical designs and makes medical devices in Cincinnati. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
